Premier N-type TOPCon layout

The plant uses 5 nos. of Premier N-type TOPCon panels rated at 620 W each. The layout was planned for a compact 3 kW residential on-grid system suited to the Jhatikara Village rooftop.

Shorter DC cable travel

The Premier/Sungrow inverter was mounted underneath the structure so DC cable travel could be minimized. This is a small but important design choice when building a neat, efficient rooftop system.

Bifacial gain and structure height

The structure height was selected to support better bifacial gains from the N-type TOPCon panels while keeping the rooftop usable and serviceable.

Subsidy, GBI and bill outcome

Jai Parkash received Rs 78,000 central government subsidy under PM Surya Ghar and Rs 3,000 Delhi government subsidy under Delhi Solar Policy. He continues to receive approximately Rs 1,200 per month as GBI and has reported zero electricity bills since commissioning.
